A bit of etiquette
We assume that co-workers share the same goals, but may work best in different conditions. To help everyone be their most productive, we observe these guidelines for respecting each other's work and time:
MEETINGS
Internal meetings at ReadMe happen in one of our conference rooms, in any hangout space throughout the office, or via Zoom! If you're scheduling a meeting, try to keep it short (less than 30 minutes) and be on time! Before you schedule, we encourage you to first ask yourself the age-old question, βCan we do this over Slack?β If you can't make it to a meeting, let everyone know as early as possible.
Always ask before sending a calendar invite! People's time is important, and we want to respect that.
OFFICE CLEANLINESS
Nobody likes a moldy office. Eat as much as you wantβwe definitely do! Just make sure to wash your dishes or put them in the dishwasher if the magnet says it's dirty. Janitors come every evening to clean our bathrooms and take out the trash, but nobody does your dishes except you!
